He was born in Granada (Spain) in 1962, where he studied classic guitar, vihuela and renaissance & baroque lute. He learnt music theory at Open University and attended courses and master classes with prominent guitarists such as David Russel.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Among his most remarkable redorded albums are:
\nM\u00fasica antigua para un tiempo vac\u00edo – Early music for an empty time<\/span><\/strong> (2002) featuring soprano Palmira Irisarri;
\nEl sombrero del alquimista<\/span><\/strong><\/a> (2009) with multi-instrumentist Ignacio B\u00e9jar, an album which was very well received by the critics and is regularly aired on the Spanish National Radio;
\nAlma de cuerda – Soul of String<\/span><\/strong><\/a> – (2010), by the U.S. label Magnatune, an album that is being widely heard worldwide through music platforms such as Spotify or iTunes.
\nAncient Mosaic with Guitar – Mosaico antiguo con guitarra<\/span><\/strong><\/a>, also by Magnatune (2011): baroque and renaissance music realized together with the soprano Palmira Irisarri.<\/p>\n

In 2015, recording of C\u00e1ntica<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>in collaboration with C\u00e1ntica Cuarteto.
\nRecently he published (2018) \u00a0Music of Spanish Gentlemen<\/span><\/strong><\/a> (M\u00fasica de los gentilhombres), and he is preparing a new album with his own compositions for poems written by Garc\u00eda Lorca.<\/p>\n

\"Manuel<\/a>In March 2012, Manuel recorded live for the Spanish TV (RTVE)<\/a> in a remarkable scenario: aboard the Goleta Sadko, a schooner anchored at Puerto de Santa Maria (Cadix, Spain).<\/p>\n

He has performed in a great number of venues, such as:
\nSala Gades at the renowned Teatro Cervantes in Malaga (May 2007);
\nSalvador Dal\u00ed’s birthplace, as part of the Cadaques International Music Festival (August 2007);
\nArab baths in Ronda, Malaga (June, 2008); at the closing concert for the I World Music Festival at Malaga University (May, 2009); Bil-bil Castle in Benalmadena, Malaga, as part of the Music for the Soul Festival (September 2012); and at the Sal\u00f3n de los Espejos in Malaga’s Town Hall with CANTICA<\/strong><\/span> (June, 2014).<\/p>\n

From then until today, he has given concerts in many halls of Andalusia, as in Los Ac\u00fasticos de El Rey Chico<\/a> and in the legendary La Tertulia (Granada).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
